35 CHURCH OF STS. PETER AND PAUL Istog/Istok

Site description Free cross type domed church with pronaos and bell tower.Parish house and a few graves. The church was built in 1929.

  • Door and windows destroyed.
  • Interior affected by fire, iconostasis burnt, altar destroyed, stone pavement partially destroyed.
  • Parish house completely burnt down
2005-Protective Interventions st.sava
  • Reconstruction of damaged stonework and external render
  • Repair of internal plasters and cracks
  • New doors, windows and grills
  • Replacement of electrical installation
  • Re-fixing of marble altar table
