16 CHURCH OF ST. KYRIAKE. Prizren.

Site description One aisled church with narthex, covered by a dome. Remains of wall paintings. Built during the 1960s over the remains of a XIV c. church.
2004-Damage Assessment st.sava
  • Interior of the church burnt. Wall paintings damaged by fire and soot. Exterior in good condition.
2005-Protective Interventions st.sava
  • Repair of the lead roof
  • New oak timber doors and repair of metallic windows
  • Repair and re-fixing of the altar pillar
  • Repair of the perimeter walls and addition of a metallic fence
