11 CHURCH OF ST. ANDREW Podujevë/Podujevo

Site description Single aisled church with central dome. Initially built in 1930. The last reconstruction is dated 1971.
2004-Damage Assessment	Looted and burnt down. Apse blown up with explosives. Floors, internal surfaces and joinery damaged. Roof cover partially removed. Boundary wall demolished.
2005-Protective Interventions	Clearing of the church interior Reconstruction of the blown-up apse Repair of the roof Replacement of gate, doors and windows. Reconstruction of perimeter walls.
2006-RECONSTRUCTION WORKS	No interventions carried out
2007-RECONSTRUCTION WORKS	Roof repairs. Façade repairs. Internal plasterwork completed. Marble floor laid. Electrical installation. Belfry reconstruction.
2008-RECONSTRUCTION WORKS	Completed
