17-CHURCH OF ST. NICHOLAS Fushë Kosovë/ Kosovo Polje

Site description Free cross type domed church with pronaos and bell tower. Priest house. Built around 1929.
2004-DAMAGE ASSESSMENT	Exterior in good condition. Interior looted, few windows broken. Lobby area affected by fire: doors burnt down, floor destroyed, wall paintings soiled. Staircase and bell mechanism destroyed.
2005-PROTECTIVE INTERVENTIONS	Replacement of damaged doors. Repair of damaged windows. Repair of the damaged marble floor. Replacement of the burnt staircase to the belfry. Construction of a new fence and gate.
2006- RECONSTRUCTION WORKS	No interventions carried out.
2007- RECONSTRUCTION WORKS	No interventions carried out.
2008- RECONSTRUCTION WORKS	No interventions carried out.
2009-FURTHER INTERVENTIONS PROGRAMMED	Wall paintings restoration.
